DigiBook 450

This innovative machine features a patented closed gluing system; spine and side gluing are carried out by a slot applicator for the highest quality and precision.

DigiBook 450 comes as standard with an automatic cover feeder, raising output to up to 450 books per hour. The cover feeder can also be fitted with an optional scoring attachment that removes the need to pre-crease covers.

Automatic set-up:

The machine is easy to use, even by non-specialist staff, and is operated via a touchscreen panel with graphic icons that let you programme all precision operations in just a few seconds. A thousand alphanumeric memories are available, so repeat jobs can be saved and recalled later for fully automatic set-up.



Glue application system:

A further feature of the DigiBook 450 is its new, innovative glue application system, covered by no fewer than seven international patents. Application is direct and hermetically sealed, with no odours or toxic fumes, and no extraction fans are needed. You can set different temperatures for the glue melting tank and the applicator, giving greater flexibility and a longer glue life.

The applicator can also be cleaned and sealed automatically from the touchscreen, keeping glue waste to a minimum.
